by FP Editor at 24.04.2020 - 05:10

As a thank you to everyone who contributes to the pandemic, Sony Interactive Entertainment announces the launch of the Play At Home initiative. As part of this initiative: firstly, providing free games to help keep the PlayStation community entertained at home; and secondly, establishing a fund to help smaller independent game studios who may be experiencing financial difficulties.

PlayStation is offering Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey available for free for a limited time through digital downloads from Thursday 16th April midnight BST / 1am CEST through Wednesday, 6th May midnight BST / 1am CEST. Once you redeem the games, they are yours to keep.  Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will need no introduction. This collection of three games from Naughty Dog Studios will take you on an exciting treasure hunt around the world with legendary characters. Journey is a beautiful, famous adventure, fascinating with its secrets and touching to the core. This game has a life-affirming message, which we now need more than ever.

Also Sony have earmarked $10 million to support our independent development partners. More information about the fund, including participation criteria, will be made available soon.
